Long Synopsis

A young woman about to embark on a journey of self discovery after meeting a mysterious young man living in a lighthouse. She decides to follow her heart, but when her secret comes to the surface everything is called into question. Cultures will clash, traditions will be challenged and she discovers that love has no borders and what it ultimately means to be true to one's self. Shirin, is a young woman about to embark on a journey of self discovery. Growing up in "Tehrangeles" (Los Angeles' Iranian community) with an overbearing mother and empathetic father she knows the importance of tradition. So much so that even though she has been engaged for years to a successful Iranian surgeon in Beverly Hills she still lives with her parents. After meeting a mysterious young man living in a lighthouse in Northern California she decides to follow her heart, but when her secret comes to the surface everything is called into question. Cultures will clash, traditions will be challenged and maybe even a little self discovery for Shirin. Nazanin Boniadi (Homeland, Scandal) is Shirin, a young Iranian-American woman living in Beverly Hills with an overbearing mother and kindly father is engaged to a engaged to a successful Iranian plastic surgeon, Maz Jobrani (I Come in Peace). Shirin finds herself breaking family tradition when she falls in love with a mysterious young man, Riley Smith (True Blood, 90210) who lives in a lighthouse. As cultures clash, Shirin discovers what it means to be true to herself and follow her heart.
