Long Synopsis

Joel Flanagan (Santi Fontana, Frozen, My Crazy-Ex Girlfriend), the unlikely heir to a Mexican fast-food franchise, travels to New Mexico to discover a winning recipe from the local cuisine. He finds himself in a small, dusty town where Javiera Torres, (Dania Ramirez, Once Upon a Time, Devious Maids) a feisty female chef, owns a restaurant with her mother, Cordelia Torres (Maria Conchita Alonso, Running Man). Their family’s restaurant is known for the best tasting and authentic food in the entire Southwest. Joel wins his way into Javiera’s heart thanks to forming a special bond with her daughter Sophia (Makenzie Moss, Steve Jobs). However when Javiera finds out Joel’s mission to steal her secret chili recipe, she loses trust in his love. Will Joel choose the special sauce of love or his family fortune?
