Beth Hoyson (Beverly Mitchell, 7th Heaven), a single working-class mom, sacrifices everything to make sure her talented daughter Melanie (Jenna Warren, The Next Step) can follow her passion and attend Gabby’s, a top-notch Dance Academy. Melanie and her best friend Sarah (Hailey Kittle, 2nd Generation) are the two top dancers in the class, and now have the chance to compete for a sizable cash prize and dance scholarship. But Sara’s mom, Jeanette (Christina Cox, Shadow Hunters, Elysium), will stop at nothing to see her daughter win. She hatches an evil plan to make sure her daughter’s little competitor never makes it to the event and Beth must take control like only a mother can, and rescue her daughter from Jeannette’s dangerous web before it’s too late.
