Angelica Jacobs (Katya Martin) is a teenage girl battling a rare cancer called Myelodysplastic syndrome, but still dreams of finding her first true love. Her parents Mark (Matthew Rauch, The Wolf of Wall Street) and Heidi (Valerie Cruz, Cellular) are struggling to keep up with medical expenses and are searching for a multi-racial dor to cure Angelica. Destiny brings together a set of characters: Sean, a homeless runaway, a mysterious street musician, Charlie (Sean Patrick Flannery, The Boondock Saints), Brandon (Quinton Aaron, The Blind Side) who works with Mark, and the local priest, Father Lawrence (Jason London, Dazed and Confused), who each touch the lives of Angelica’s family as she battles cancer.
